This is a very unique oil. I used in the brownie recipe from Ahualoa which was the best brownie I have ever made. I used the oil when making a spice cake and it made the cake incredibly moist with a hint of flavor no one could identify except me! There was just a slight background nut flavor and it was delicious with all the other spices in the cake.
Besides using Mac oil in the kitchen , it's great for using as a pre-shave application on my face. Makes fir a very smooth shave.

I was looking for macadamia nuts that are grown, processed, and packaged on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Quite frankly Ahualoa macademia nuts have best flavor- yum! I enjoy cooking with the oil knowing : High smoke point: Around 400–450°F (204–232°C), so it can handle sautéing, roasting, and even light frying without breaking down into harmful compounds. This makes it more stable than many common oils like olive oil (especially extra virgin). Heart healthy Rich in monounsaturated fats (about 80–85%), which are heart-healthy and similar to those in olive oil. Low in polyunsaturated fats, meaning it’s less likely to oxidize or go rancid during cooking. Thank you ( Mahalo!) Ahualoa for making our food not only taste better but heart healthy!
