Honoka'a Town
We're nuts about this little town! It's an honor and a privilige to call historic Honoka'a Town home.
This quaint little town is located on the Hamakua Coast and was built around the sugar cane plantations in the late 19th and early 20th century. Plantation style buildings, mom and pop shops, and local smiles still line Mamane Street, the heart of Honoka’a Town.
In Hawaiian, Honoka’a means “rolling bay”, referencing the sound the nearby ocean makes when its waves “roll” the stones along the rugged Hamakua shoreline. Visit Honoka’a Town and you are sure to fall in love and instantly feel the relaxed aloha spirit while stepping back in time to true Hawaii.
