First tried these at the visitor center at
Haleakala National Park. The best Dark Chocolate Macadamia Nuts I've ever had. This Kentuckian will continue to order these as long as Ahualoa Farms sells them. Hope to visit Maui again soon. Aloha!!
All four packages melted into blocks. Notice the light brown patches where the dark chocolate oxidized badly, giving the chocolate a chalky taste. Not sure what happened but they appear to have been exposed to heat badly enough to melt and cause chocolate to oxidize.
This did not occur on delivery as I met the Fed ex guy at the door.
This is normally a five star product, but this delivery was not.

Without a doubt, Ahualoa Family Farms has the best Dark Chocolate Macadamia Nuts we have EVER tasted! When we bit into the macadamia nuts, it was heavenly. The nuts are silky smooth! While in Hawai’i I did the thing I’m assuming everyone does and buy a crap ton of dark chocolate macadamia nuts. They were delicious. None were nearly as delicious - they are so decadent and the chocolate is perfect on them!!- as these! I was mad that I was in a meeting today and couldn’t go eat them. The Dark Chocolate Macadamia nuts are amazing! They are delicious, soft and very satisfying; just a few of these very natural tasting and decadent nuts are a real treat!
I realized that I cannot rely on fresh macadamia nuts in my area. The local stores have stale or rancid flavored nuts. They are my favorite nut and I knew I had to order locally from Hawaii.
I am so glad I did! Talking with other people, they also said they have not had much success with getting fresh nuts. I have been sharing nuts and the Ahualoa family farms name so they too can get great macadamia nuts.
